"Seven Churches, part 1 - The Way!”

Based on 1John 2John 14, John 15, & Matthew 7

Counterfeit.

It's easy to be decieved these days.  Mostly because our eyes are open yet we don't pay attention to what is in front of us.  It happened with Eve, and continues to this day.

Talking with an FBI agent about knowing the difference between real money and counterfeit  money, he said the following:
"I study the real thing and know it so well that when a counterfeit comes along, I can see the difference."

He knows that money isn't printed on paper.  He knows so much about the original, the real thing, that he can spot a fake, just by holding it in the palm of his hand.

Based on 1John 2John 14, John 15, & Matthew 7.

He knows the measurements, the weight, the watermark, the hidden items, the different color of fibers used.  He knows that money isn't printed on paper.  He knows so much about the original, the real thing, that he can spot a fake, just by holding it in the palm of his hand.

At The Journey, we are going to take a closer look at Jesus, attempting to study Him so well that we can recognize the true followers of The Way, simply because they emulate Him.  We will start with laying the foundation through scripture.  We'll find out what Jesus and His disciples said about following Jesus.

The goal is simple:  We want to follow Jesus faithfully as He prescribes in the scriptures!  We want to follow Him, from this place, all the way to the Kingdom of Heaven!

So, what are your thoughts on this?  Why are there so many different religions?  I one more "correct" than another?  Does the Bible teach about "One Church"?

Sound off!
